On-the-spot Live Report of the Volunteer Activities(11/09/06)

Saturday September 3rd : The students left for the stricken area in the evening after the typhoon passed by.
Sunday September 4th : All activities in the stricken areas were cancelled because of the typhoon, but the students helped staff in the volunteer center with many kinds of tasks.
Monday September 5th : The students left for Rikuzentakada for the volunteer activities. Unfortunately the activities were cancelled because the ground was very muddy and dangerous after the typhoon. However the staff of the volunteer center guided the students to the places where they have done volunteer work. The students were surprised at the explanations of the present situation and the sights of the places. The reports are too many to be stated here, so they will be reported in detail by the students at the conference.
