ESS members left for "University Scholars Leadership Symposium"! (12/08/01)

Based on a plan adopted in a student challenge system, ESS members left Japan on July 31, to participate in "The Third University Scholars Leadership Symposium which will start on August 1 in Bali, Indonesia and run until 7th.

The participating members are Takumi Saito (4th grader, Department of Management and Information Science), Kyohei Shina (3rd grader, Department of Information Design), Teji Chon (2nd grader, Department of Management Design).
The NGO group Humanitarian Affairs, the sponsor was established for the purpose of helping people worldwide suffering from poverty and disasters, and a symposium is held once a year, with approximately 400 students from all over the world due to participate this year.
These ESS members are going to distribute a handbill which uses an introductory sentence to have people know about "Tree Of The Global Mind" which is the international support activity of OIU (Osaka International University). We look forward to their reports after they return home.
